FAQ....

-How Do I Change the email address on my template, so it sends emails to me?-
First go to your Main Entry page and then search for the tag
Email</a>

After you find that code simply replace "youremailhere@site.com" with your actual email address [i.e. dragondesign@design.com].  But DO NOT Delete the "mailto:" that is in front of the fake email address. If you do the email will not be sent.

-How do I change the AIM link, so people can Instant Message me when the click it?-
Okay again you will need to open your main entry page and edit the tag
<a href="aim:goim?screenname=YourScreennamehere">Aim</a>.
Replace the "Yourscreename here" With your actual Aol Instant Messenger screen name. DO NOT delete anything other than the "Yourscreenname here" in the tag or else the link will not work.

How do I create a new link to somewhere else, like a picture page or something?-
This is simple and the easiest thing to do. Just copy the URL [should look like this: http://something.something.something"]. Well just copy the URL from the Address bar on the page it's on. Then go into your Main Entry page and go to where all the other links are. Type the tag
<a href=" and the paste the URL and then end the tag with ">
Type the name of the link here and then make the link name linkable by ending the name with </a>. 

-Copying and Pasting the codes-
As soon as you see the first box, or text area, highlight its contents [you may want to create another window by going to file in the tool bar and clicking on "New Window".]. If you selected new window go to the page your template is on. You should now have to windows with the same template. In one window you will select and copy the codes. In the other you will paste the contents to your diary. The first text area should have the label called "MAIN ENTRY" somewhere right above it. Highlight the code and copy it [press Ctrl C or go to your tool bar and select Edit then click copy]. In the second window, that you did not select the code in, click on the words "Main Entry". This should take you directly to the place you need to paste it to. A large white box with a bunch of codes should appear in the window. Click inside the window and select all the content [press Ctrl A or go to Edit and select all]. After selecting the new text delete it and paste the copied code [press Ctrl V or go to the tool bar Edit and "Paste"].

---Do this for each text area until you're done. Check to see that it works by clicking the Your Diary button to your left on the buttons menu for Diaryland. You should see your new template displaying your entries properly. If the template doesn't work, go here Repair.
